Broken for a Purpose

This past weekend I attended the Free to Be Me Bloggers Retreat and I must say my cup was more than filled. I met some amazing ladies who I now consider my friends and sisters.

To make a long story short, I didn't think I was going to get to go and God worked everything out because He wanted me there. He wanted me at a place where I would actually have to listen to what He has been telling me for a VERY LONG TIME!!!!

I discovered that I have not allowed Him to be my Potter. I am clay. In the past, I have allowed others to mold me, shape me and make me who I am. Unfortunately, I am not the work of art that God intended for me to be. He needed to break me again, so that I can be FREE TO BE ME and be the "me" that fits His plan.

This past weekend, I broke. I handed all the pieces to Him and am very excited to see the final masterpiece I am in Him.

I am going to be waitng and writing during this whole journey. Who knew that back when I started this blog that the whole write and wait thing would be about me becoming God's Mona Lisa.

Oh Sabrina,

You have been on my mind and heart all day long. You should know that God is calling you... calling LOUDLY....

I promise you I am praying for you. Do you know this verse?

Isaiah 43: 19 For I am about to do something new.

See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?

This verse is for you... So, girl, sluff off the past because your new beginning is going to be awesome. BIG hugs, Lynn

Oh Sabrina!!

GOD IS FAITHFUL!

GOD IS FAITHFUL!

I'm crying tears of joy as I read because the LORD has touched your heart so tenderly and I'm crying because I'm rejoicing in what all the LORD is about to do in you and through you because you are surrendering fully to HIM.

Walk it out freely girl! Stay close to His feet in prayer and worship. You are beautiful in God's hands. No better place to be!

I was so blessed to meet you and I'm looking forward to reading even more as you walk your journey in Christ.

Much love. I'll be praying for you.
Lisa

Oh Sabrina!
What a beautiful heart of honesty!

God indeed poured His Spirit out on all us girls...I am so thankful that you came away with the knowledge that His guiding and loving hand is all over your life!

Broken vessels remade into new are most beautiful to Him. What a blessing you were to us! I KNOW God had you there on purpose because WE prayed for HIM to pick the girls! He chose well. As He always does.

I read somewhere once, "God always gives His best to those who leave the choice to Him". How true for so many. He will remake you into the most extraordinary vessel...you may consider yourself ordinary (I think of myself as VERY ordinary)...but God can do extraordinary things with just us ordinary girls...just remember this weekend :)
Honey I'm the most ordinary. And God did EXTRAORDINARY things in each heart and life.

Love you girl! Keep in touch please!
Don't forget, the pictures that were taken by Marilyn will be up soon.

Sounds like it was really a blessing for you to get to go to the retreat. I was planning on going but wasn't able to. I was wondering if you got my emails about the Ornament Swap?

How wonderful it is to love you Sabrina
My intercessions for you began intense from the moment I said hello in the green frog cafe. I know girl that he is passionate about you. The relief and release to hear this of your heart blesses me so profoundly. Not being able to be for you in action or hands on person was so very hard. Forgive me but I was called to set apart. It did not stop me however for standing for you with others fighting for your heart. You are very loved!
You are an amazingly powerful woman.
You have a beauty that is powerful.
It has been an honor to have met and prayed for you.

Sabrina,

What a beautiful time you had with the Lord. And what a blessing it was to get to meet you. I can't wait to see ALL He has in store for you.

Remember who you are and whose you are. Then step back and watch the masterpiece in His beautiful Mona Lisa unfold.

He makes ALL things new! Rev. 21:5

Hugs!!!
